I have been a preschool Associate Teacher at Burlington School since 2003. I have love working with children since I was very young. As a teenager I would pretend play as a mommy when playing with my cousins, and cared for them. During the first five years of a child's life a child develop's 90% of their brain as well as their personality and character. Therefore, I take great responsibility teaching young children.
It is important to me to teach them rules and discipline in order to build successful students and citizens.
It makes me happy to work at Burlington. I feel comfortable with colleagues and our director. I am thankful to be part of this school.

I was raised in a foreign country where I studied and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Elementary education. My Alma Mater was then called Philippine Normal College but after a few years was changed to Philippine Normal University.
MY experience as a teacher started in the Philippine Normal College laboratory school where we had students from preschool up to high school. I was accepted as a teacher just  a few months after I graduated. My assignment was mostly working in the principal's office and the guidance counseling department.
I've been in the U.S. for more than two years and have been given the opportunity to be part of this prestigious school - Burlington School inc. Being part of this school has been a great opportunity for me. It has given me the opportunity to meet a diversity of cultures.

Ms. Merian C. Neniel
Teacher

Merian has been working for Burlington School for 4 years. She is currently working in the development of the toddler group. She understands that is quite a challenge to accommodate the needs and wants during the transitional period. However, she works hard to focus on their developmental growth.  She maintains a happy, productive learning, and works along with obstacles to vanish them gradually and maintain a happy environment.
